Shopify Publish

The Shopify Publish node pushes generated images from your workflow directly to your Shopify store — complete with AI-generated alt text for SEO.

Prerequisites

A connected Shopify store is required. See Shopify Integration to set up the connection.

This node has no outputs — it's a terminal node that publishes content to your store.

How It Works

Add a Shopify Publish node to your canvas
Connect a generated image from an Image Generation node (or any image-producing node)
Select the target product from your Shopify store
Optionally target a specific product variant
Run the workflow to publish

Publishing Flow

When you run the workflow, the Shopify Publish node:

Uploads the image to your Shopify store
Attaches it to the selected product (or variant)
Generates AI alt text automatically for accessibility and SEO
Confirms successful publication on the node

Variant Targeting

You can publish images to a specific product variant (e.g., "Red / Large") instead of the main product listing. The image will be associated with that variant in your Shopify admin.

Publishing to a variant replaces the variant's existing media. The previous media is detached (not deleted) and remains available in your Shopify media library.
